Over the past few years Facebook has become quite a significant part of our lives. An average user spends about 15 hours per month on the social network. We are feeding Facebook with our personal information and the social media giant is keeping track of everything we let it know.
Beside the recent controversy over Facebook’s “mood experiment,” reports speak of one more thing Facebook does that may make you feel uncomfortable. The social network keeps track of all of your search queries and all the profiles you visit. That’s how Facebook knows how many times you have stalked your ex.
It should be noted that there is nothing abnormal in stalking your ex on Facebook and the social network most likely won’t tell anybody your dirty secrets, but people still feel uncomfortable that somebody knows information with this degree of confidentiality.
